Cancellation Policy

At Go Change EV, we strive to provide a seamless and convenient electric vehicle (EV) charging experience. This cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions under which users may cancel services or transactions, such as charging sessions or wallet-related actions, within the Go Change EV app.

1. Charging Session Cancellation

  • Before Start: Users may cancel a scheduled charging session at any time before the session begins without any charge. If a payment was pre-authorized, it will be voided, and no amount will be deducted from the user’s digital wallet.
  • During the Session: Once the charging session has started, cancellations are not permitted. The user will be charged for the total energy consumed up until the moment the session is stopped.
  • Technical Issues: In the event of a technical failure where the session cannot be initiated or completed due to an issue with the Go Change EV network, users are entitled to a full refund or no charges will be applied for that session.

2. Wallet Transactions Cancellation

  • Top-Up Cancellations: Wallet top-ups (adding funds to the digital wallet) are generally non-refundable once processed. Users are advised to carefully review top-up amounts before confirming. In cases of error or unauthorized transactions, users should contact support within 24 hours to review the request for cancellation or refund.
  • Refund Requests: Refunds from the wallet balance may be issued only in cases of technical malfunctions or service errors. No refunds will be made for unused wallet balances unless mandated by local laws.
  • Payment Disputes: Any disputes regarding wallet deductions or payment-related issues must be reported to Go Change EV customer support within 30 days of the transaction date.

3. Account Cancellations

  • User-Initiated Account Deactivation: Users may cancel or deactivate their Go Change EV account at any time through the app. Upon cancellation, any remaining balance in the digital wallet will not be refunded unless otherwise required by law.
  • Pending Transactions: If there are pending charges or unresolved issues on the account (such as incomplete charging sessions or payment disputes), these must be settled before the account can be fully deactivated.
  • Data Retention: Upon account cancellation, Go Change EV will retain user data as per our Privacy Policy for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Users can request data deletion as per applicable data protection regulations.

4. Promotional and Subscription Plans

  • Subscription Cancellation: If Go Change EV offers any subscription-based services, users may cancel their subscriptions through the app or customer support. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no pro-rated refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the subscription.
  • Promotional Offers: Any cancellations related to services obtained through promotional offers are subject to the terms of that promotion and may not be eligible for full refunds.

5. Support for Cancellations

  • How to Cancel: To cancel any service or request a refund, users can contact Go Change EV support via the in-app customer support feature or email automation@elcopcontrols.com.
  • Processing Time: Cancellations and refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method or to the user’s digital wallet.

6. Policy Changes

  • Go Change EV reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes through the app or email, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
